既然如此，為什麼當人們看見水龍頭的自來水“嘩啦嘩啦”地流的時候，就不會上前把水龍頭關上？為什麼人們總是要把工業廢料統統都要排汙到原來那乾淨的河流裡？為什麼大家不可以不浪費水，不會去珍惜每一滴水呢？在生活中我們經常看到有同學浪費水，。下課，同學們去洗手間洗手，走的時候太匆忙，忘了關水龍頭；課間，同學們用手接水，去潑別人，在這期間，潑去的水浪費了，潑水時候水龍頭沒關，也浪費了；還有的時候，水杯裡的水沒喝完，就倒掉了……

或許有的人會說：“不就是浪費那一兩滴嘛！怕什麼？”是的，一兩滴而已。但是大家想想，如果人人都保持這樣的心態，人人都浪費一兩滴水，世界會變成什麼樣？積少成多，假如你今天浪費一滴，明天浪費一滴，後天夠浪費一滴……只要一年，你就已經可以浪費一桶水了！

節約用水，其實並不費我們多少力氣、多少時間，也並不需要我們花費什麼。洗完手隨手關一下水龍頭；洗完臉的水留下來沖廁所；洗米的水用來澆花；經過河邊，手上的垃圾不要扔進河中……這一些細小的動作，就已經能節約水了。

“不以善小而不為，不也惡小而為之。”小小的錯誤，能給世界帶來如此大的危害，小小的行動，也就能給世界帶來節約！如果我們不珍惜水資源，如果我們不加強保護水資源的意識的話，那麼，世界上的最後一滴水，就是我們的眼淚！
