2017年公共英语四级听力考试分析

作为一门规范化的考试,PETS-4考试紧紧围绕着大纲进行命题。同时,由于其特殊的社会功用和使命,其命题方面也显示出一些程序化的迹象,虽然考查内容千变万化,考查话题灵活多变,但是仍有不少规律可循。考生把握这些命题的规律,进行有目的,又针对性的复习,必然能起到事半功倍的效果。

  规律一:以贴近实际功用为主旨,考查的主题有限

PETS—4听力考试三节的考查内容虽然不同,三节中各自的考查形式也不确定,有可能是独白,有可能是对话,但是都具有生活化和应用性强的共同点

。对话内容多贴近生活实际,考查的场景多为考生日常生活中常遇到的情况,因此,同一个场景反复出现的可能性极大。考生应该对往年的真题进行反复消化,熟悉历年考过的场景对话。独白内容多为学术性或者应用性强的短文,因此,独白部分题目出题思路单一,题型固定。考生只要熟悉每类题型的出题点和解题方式,进行有针对性地记忆,在此类题型中一定能够取得高分。

  规律二:考查考生理解和推断的'能力

PETS-4级听力考试考查的是考生对英语口语的理解。在考生能够听懂听力原文的基础上,还要求考生能过对原文中的部分事实进行消化理解和推断。我们发现考试大纲中所列的功能意念表和语言技能表,是PET-4 听力考试的重点和依据。为了顺利解答听力考题,考生需掌握如下听力的考试技能:

1. 在考试中,能听出材料中具体的事实性信息。如一些物品名称、商品价格、事件发生时间、事件发生地点、参与事件发生的人物等。

2.在考试中,能依据录音材料,判断出事件发生的背景环境、推导出事件参与者们的关系以及事件的最终结果等。

PETS-4听力考试由于其强烈的实际运用导向,其考查重点放在了最基础,最常规的英语基础知识之上。我们日常看英文电影和与外国友人交流时可以发现,实际英语口语中运用到的词汇,句型,语法知识是整个英语知识体系中很少的一部分,因此,考生不需要很扎实的英语知识功底,只要能够对口语中常用的表达方式和词汇有一定掌握,就能够在听力考试中取得好成绩
