Black 布萊克先生

Mr Black teaches us English this term. 布萊克先生這個學期教我們英語。

He is a tall man. He likes wearing a white shirt and black trousers. 他很高。喜歡穿一件白色的襯衫和一條黑色的褲子。

He speaks English very well. 他説英語説的非常好。

We like his lessons very much. 我們都非常喜歡他的課。

His home is near the school. 他的家在學校附近。

Sometimes Mr Black walks to his home. 有時布萊克先生步行回家。

He has two little sons. 他有兩個小兒子。

They look the same. They often wear the same clothes. 他們是雙胞胎。他們經常穿一樣的衣服。

He loves to see them and play with them. 他喜歡看他們，和他們玩。

We can tell the time by a clock or by a watch. 我們可以通過一個鐘或是一塊手錶知道時間。

A clock is big it is usually on the wall or on the table. 鍾很大，經常是掛在牆上或是放在桌子上。

A watch is small we can put it in the pocket, or wear it on the wrist! 手錶很小。我們可以把它放在口袋裏或是戴在手腕上!

A clock or a watch usually has a round face. 鍾或手錶通常都有一個圓的臉。

It has two hands, a long one and a short one. 它有兩隻手，一隻長，一隻短。

Tom's clock can speak and call him to get up every day. 湯姆的鐘會説話，它可以每天叫他起牀。

His watch has a picture of a lovely dog on the face. 他的手錶錶盤上有一隻可愛的狗的畫。

He likes it very much. 他非常喜歡它。

Lily 和麗麗見面

Kate : Look, Mary! A girl is over there. Can you see her? 凱特：看，瑪麗!一個女孩在那裏。你看見她了嗎?

Lily : Kate, how do you do? 麗麗：凱特，你好嗎?

Kate :How do you do? I'm English. Are you English, too? 凱特：你好嗎?我是英國人。你也是英國人嗎?

Lily : No, I'm American. 麗麗：不，我是美國人。

Kate and Mary : We're glad we have a new friend. 凱特和瑪麗：我們很高興有了一個新朋友。

26.A Happy Family 一個快樂的家庭

Mike comes from America. He is twelve. 邁克來自美國。他12歲。

His father Mr Brown works in a big shop in Beijing. 他的父親布朗先生在北京一家大商店工作。

Mike has a sister. Her name is Kate. She is only four. 邁克有一個妹妹。她叫凱特，只有四歲。

It is Saturday today. Mike's family is all at home. 今天是星期六。邁克一家都在家裏。

Mr Brown is sitting in a chair and reading today's newspaper. 布朗先生坐在一把椅子上看今天的報紙。

They are Mr White, Mrs White, May and Jim. 他們是懷特先生、懷特夫人、瑪麗和吉姆。

They are walking on the bridge. 他們在大橋上散步。

There are some boats on the river. Mr and Mrs White are looking at them. 河裏有一些船。懷特夫婦在看着它們。 May is not looking at the boats. 瑪麗沒有看小船。
