每次考试,差不多每次有一道题提问作者对文章中某一问题的态度(Attitude)、观点(Opinion)全文的基调(Tone)、文章的出处(Source)及对文章前后接续内容的判断。

此类问题的常用的提问方式有：

纵观历届四、六级听力/阅读理解试题，在考查学生揣测作者观点态度时，所给的四个选项大体可以分有三类：褒义词、贬义词和折衷性词汇。如：approving, favorable, positive;critical, demanding, negative;objective, neutral等等。
