(1)考研完型真题

考生可以根据自己的具体情况对自己提出不同的要求，以下各项对考生要求依次递增。①弄清所有选项。此项工作的价值在于：考试中原题重现的几率几乎没有，但是下次完全可能出现同一组容易混淆的单词中的几个，而一旦题干发生改变，选项可能还是那几个选项，但是被选中的确应该是另外一个答案。复习时如果仅仅满足于选出正确答案是没有太大的意义，但是弄清所有选项却很有参考价值。② 熟读文章。完成第一步之后若还有余力，可以熟读文章。注意，此处的读不是默读，而是朗读，因为把正确选项填进去之后，你会看到的是一篇优秀的文章，主题明确，用词多样，衔接有序，而这不正是我们优秀的考研作文应该具备的特征吗?想想，(竞争压力增大)使得好工作越来越难找如何表达?…makes it more and more difficult to get a good job. 是不是很多同学就是这么想的。而实际上2004年的完型真题给了我们一个很好的范例, “makes gainful employment increasingly difficult to obtain.” 比较一下，高下立判。那熟读到何种程度才叫熟呢?至少读5遍，然后用mp3或者其他录音设备录下自己的声音，以录音中朗读流畅为判定标准。 ③ 汉英翻译练习。 在熟读文章，对文章本身的结构用词特点有比较清楚的认识之后，可以立即找出文章的中文译文，对照中文译文回译出英文版本，再比照英文原版进行分析，找出自己版本与英文原版在句式、用词、衔接上的差异，提醒自己向原文靠拢。此类练习根据学生的程度不同而在具体的训练次数上有差异，以能够较为准确的回译出原文最终要求。达到要求即可。此项训练可以句式、用词、衔接三个方面提大学联考生的英文水平，增强考生对长难句的把握能力，在精练完型的同时，促进写作水平的提高。

(2)词汇真题

前面已经讲过完型的实质就是在把词汇和结构置于阅读的大背景中的一种测试方式。必然会涉及到易混淆词的辨析，而考研词汇真题无疑是一个很好的复习考研层次易混淆词的平台，应该加以利用，具体要求也是要弄清楚每一个选项，即：为什么选择这个答案，为什么不选其他的答案，以及其他的答案在什么情况下是可以选的。做到这一步，可以有效降低考生遭遇生题的可能性。

(3)阅读真题

将阅读真题作为精读材料，留心其中的固定搭配与习惯表达，凡是自己觉得读来比较奇怪的，一定注意搜集，进行汇编，因为每个考生的程度不一，所以不方便做出整齐划一的规定，原则上讲应该是“有好奇心，且尽一切可能满足这种好奇心。”比如说，购买力，驱动力，一国的经济实力，分别如何表达，如果还需要动脑筋的话，你的复习应该算不得很充分的。三个概念中中文都涉及到了力，但英文表达分别为 purchasing power, driving force, the strength of a country’s economy。而所有的这些都是阅读理解的真题中出现过的。

(4)质量较高、配有详解的模拟题

真题无价，在踏踏实实的吃透真题，充分吸收其养分的基础之上，有必要做一些模拟题。而成功的模拟题的作用仅仅在于帮考生寻找实战感觉，进一步熟悉命题思路，解题策略。在模拟题问题上，很多考生感觉及其困惑：不做吧，真题已经太熟，答案都可以背下来的，再简单的重复那几道题目只有一种感觉：浪费时间。做吧，有的模拟题根本就和考试真题思路完全不一样。还是以完型为例，完型填空首句一般不出题，出题也绝对不针对实词，因为首句一般统揽全文，起到的是开门见山的作用，所提供的信息大多是为解决后面题目的`重要线索。但是现在很多模拟题不仅首句出题，而且针对实词。

选择完型模拟题首先看首句，一般是完整的，即使出题也不应该针对实词;其次看长度，一般是280词左右，除开选项，文章最短不宜低于250词(因为真题2006年单词数最少，为255词)，最长不宜超过300词;其三，浏览选项，应该发现有不少熟悉的面孔，因为考研完型部分的词有很多都是反复出现的，如果“熟人太少”，该题至少对出题特点的把握不是非常好。同时，看选项中是否有近形近义辨析，如果没有而且词汇很难，则有可能是六级原题;如果选项中出现一个单词的多种形式，比如说时态变化等，则有可能是四级考试原题，不建议选择。最后，看选项中有无针对上下文衔接关系的衔接词设计，因为如前所述，衔接关系是近些年考查的热点。

满足以上条件之后，模拟题最好备有详解，因为准备详解的过程其实可以让出题人的思维更严谨，这样一来出题也就会反复思考，慎重很多。而对备考考生来说，这也是更加明智的选择，因为我们总是希望对得清楚，错得明白。因为只要我们把错误搞清楚，并且可以保证今后不再犯同样的错误，这本身就是我们进步的一个极佳方式。
